Most of Los Angeles’ best bar scenes can oftentimes be found right in your own hotel. Here’s a short list of the best nightspots in West Hollywood:

The Tower Bar at Sunset Tower – Argyle: This Art Deco hotel’s chic yet low-key atmosphere attracts both celebrities and locals alike, who gather at The Tower Bar for well-crafted cocktails and stunning views over greater Los Angeles. Foodies will be pleased with the continental menu and everyone can enjoys the live pianist and candlelit ambiance. A great spot for a romantic date or just a fun night out with friends, this is definitely one of the places to be. 8358 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood

Gordon Ramsay at The London West Hollywood: This rooftop oasis in the middle of bustling Sunset Strip is home to yet another outdoor bar with to-die-for views of Los Angeles. Opened in 2008 and tucked away just steps from the boutiques and legendary music clubs along the Strip, it’s a great place to have a drink before seeing a band at any of the nearby Viper Room or The Roxy. 1020 N. San Vicente Blvd, West Hollywood

Stone Rose Lounge at the Sofitel Los Angeles: Rande Gerber’s Stone Rose Lounge features chic interiors (HBO’s True Blood was shot there), a VIP room, and a large outdoor space with cabanas, which are reserved for bottle service on the weekends. The city’s best old-school DJ’s spin here on Friday and Saturday, attracting a diverse crowd of all ages – you could find yourself dancing next to an Idol contestant, a 50 year old studio executive, or even a celebrity! A great place to see and be seen. 8555 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles
