Well, we always knew Aloft was a pet-friendly hotel chain, but the Aloft Asheville Downtown has taken it up a notch. The North Carolina hotel has partnered with Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue to find loving families for shelter dogs. Here's how: The hotel fosters a shelter pooch until a guest chooses to adopt the lucky pup at checkout (and it would be hard not to fall in love with these furry friends during your stay). Once potential new "parents" are approved, the rescue center delivers the dog to its new happy home, and the hotel receives another dog to house until it, too, finds an owner. The program has successfully paired 17 dogs with guests, and Aloft is looking to expand the program to many other hotels within the brand. And if you're bringing your own pooch along for your stay, the Aloft Asheville has plenty to offer with no pet fees, pet welcome kits, dog bowls and beds, and even an on-site dog run.
