First Look: Yet Another Brooklyn Hotel Slated to Open This Year

See recent posts by Jane Reynolds

In much the same way long-time Manhattanites are morphing into Brooklyn residents, many tourists are choosing the outer borough over the island for their New York stays. After all, it's cheaper (although probably for not much longer), easily accessible to Manhattan (as long as the L is running!), and home to a vast array of museums, shops, restaurants, and bars that offer a local, authentic vibe. Curbed reports that nearly 30 Brooklyn hotel projects are currently in the works, and we're particularly excited about the Williamsburg Hotel, set to open later this year.

In (obviously) Williamsburg, on the corner of North 10th St. and Wythe Ave. -- just a block from the hip Wythe Hotel, the 150-room boutique hotel will offer attractive, masculine-meets-artsy rooms (for $250/night), as well as six bars, including one lounge-like space housed in a water tower. See you there!
