Add CommentMy family had an excellent time at the Tamarijn. The food was very good (with plenty to eat for a vegetarian like me) and the setting was just beautiful. The rooms were clean and nice with recently remodeled bathrooms and the common areas were very well maintained. The service ran on "island time" which is slow for Americans but suited our slower vacation pace just fine. The nightly entertainment was good especially the circus act, karaoke, synchronized swimming, and the Caribbean dance show. We visited the "high rise" hotel section on Aruba briefly and found it to be too crowded and touristy. We much preferred the uncrowded and noncompetitive "low rise" section at the Tamarijn and Divi. We traveled with teens and everyone was happy. We hope to return some day soon and we highly recommend this resort.
Have visited the Tamarijn 6 times and just loved it! Have been with just our family of four and also up to groups of 11 with friends and family! Just a magical place which even inspired one couple to get engaged out there - the sea, the snorkelling, the weather, the food, the staff and just the beauty of the place is what draws us back. We have ages ranging from four to fifty and this place has suited us all - even teens love it and they can be hard to please.
The welcome is always warm, the situation is stunning and if you must drag yourself away Oranjestad is so close for retail therapy and De Palm Island provides a fantastic escape for a day enjoy the very memorable Blue Parrot Fish and so much more.
Can't wait to be back there.
