1.
Tropicana Casino & Resort Atlantic City Rating: 3.5 Pearls
The Tropicana is an enormous megaresort with over 2,000 rooms and suites spread across three towers. The rooms, which are plagued with dated decor and tube TVs, are not the highlight at this boardwalk hotel. Its Havana-inspired three-story streetscape called the Quarter is much more inviting, with an IMAX Theater, shopping, kid-friendly restaurants, and a Disney World-like feel, with palm trees, lights, and "cobblestone streets." The hotel also features a popular seasonal outdoor pool for kids who'd rather not hit the beach instead.

Resorts Casino Hotel Atlantic City Rating: 3.0 Pearls
Though the rooms at Resorts Casino are dated and fees for parking, Wi-Fi, and fitness center access may not sit well with parents, kids probably won't mind. Not only does the hotel have a 1000-seat theater and an indoor/outdoor pool (a rarity in Atlantic City), it sits on the boardwalk right by the beach.
