The NH Master is situated in the Eixample neighborhood, a residential area known for having an abundance of modernist landmarks, including works by the famed Art Nouveau architect Antoni Gaudi. The area is just a 15-minute walk away from the city center, but feels far less touristy. The nearby Passeig de Gracia -- one of the most architecturally important streets in the city -- makes for a wonderful route to take a sightseeing stroll. It is home to some of Gaudi's landmark buildings, including the whimsical Casa Batlló, which currently operates as a museum and is just a 15-minute walk away from the hotel. Public transportation is readily accessible, as there are two metro stops and several bus routes nearby.
Eixample is home to the city's best examples of modernist architecture, including the Casa Milá building and Sagrada Família church that were both designed by Antoni Gaudí.
