NH Numancia 3.0

Les Corts, Barcelona, Spain

Review Summary

Photos and Review by

  • A contemporary hotel with a good value
  • Breakfast buffet served daily (standard for the NH chain)
  • Mediterranean cuisine at stylish restaurant
  • Cocktails and elegant surroundings at Nhube bar
  • Rooms have hardwood floors, flat-screen TVs, and spacious bathrooms
  • Some rooms have fantastic terraces with outdoor seating
  • 5 meeting rooms can accommodate from 8 to 200 guests
  • Free Wi-Fi in the lobby

  • Not ideal for those who want to be in the city center
  • Fees for in-room Wi-Fi
  • No pool, rooftop terrace, spa, or fitness center
  • Rooms facing the rear have lackluster views

Bottom Line

This mid-range hotel is a bit more chic than some of the other NH properties nearby, but it has limited amenities. A spacious lobby with a skylight exudes an understated, modern vibe that carries through to the rooms, which offer dark wood furnishings, natural tones, and the flat-screen TVs and contemporary decor typical of the NH chain. Some higher-tier rooms come with fantastic terraces, but rear-facing rooms have lackluster views. Business travelers may appreciate the hotel's close proximity to the financial district, as well as its five meeting spaces and Nhube bar. However, the business center is tiny, there is a fee for in-room Wi-Fi, and the property lacks a fitness center and pool.

Situated outside of Barcelona's city center, near the financial district and walking distance to the FC Barcelona stadium

Map of NH Numancia

The NH Numancia hotel is located near the city's financial district. It is a 15-minute walk from the FC Barcelona stadium and also close to restaurants and bars, as well as shopping on Diagonal Avenue. However, it is far from all the action in the city center. Public transportation options (including the Sants Estacio train station) are located near the hotel and provide access to the rest of the city and the airport.

The financial hub of Les Corts is the least populated district in the city, located about 20 minutes via metro from central Barcelona. Though its only popular attraction is Camp Nou, the soccer stadium, Les Corts has some nice hotels, restaurants, and bars that cater mostly to business travelers. Les Corts does not have the attractive, historic feel that many neighborhoods in Barcelona offer. Instead, busy streets are lined with modern office buildings and some upscale shops. Placa del Carmen is a quaint, historic square in Les Corts where the residential area of this neighborhood begins.
