A bit west of central Berlin, in Ku'Daam
Though no tourist sights are within easy walking distance, the subway is close by and the hotel is situated in the popular Ku'Daam area, a district great for shopping and posh restaurants.
Berlin is a fast, vibrant city with a tolerant and spirited arts scene and fantastic public transport. Over 20 years since the Berlin Wall fell, this city has become known for world-class dining, great street food, and cutting edge designers and performers. The jumble makes the city exciting, but the efficient transportation makes it manageable to navigate.
The upper-middle-range Abba Berlin Hotel in Ku'Damm offers clean, modern style throughout. The 214 rooms are plush and neutral, with sleek decor, big bathrooms, flat-screen TVs, and minibars. Hotel perks include a chic restaurant and comfortable lounge/bar. There is also an indoor Jacuzzi, sauna, and spacious fitness center (though there's not much equipment and cardio machines lack individual TVs). While there is a fee for Wi-Fi in the rooms, this hotel is a solid pick for its location near a popular shopping street, bike rentals, and appealing contemporary style.
