In the Aachen area near Zoologischer Garten station
Hotel Berliner Hof is located in the central Aachen area near the famous Kurfurstendamm, which is one of the most famous avenues in Berlin. Though not terribly close to most of Berlin's tourist attractions, Hotel Berliner Hof is fairly central and adjacent to Berlin's historic Zoologischer Garten Railway station, which is great for travel within Berlin (though most long distance trains no longer stop here).
Berlin is a vibrant city with a tolerant and spirited arts scene and fantastic public transportation. Over 20 years since the Berlin Wall fell, the German capital has become known to have something for everyone, from world-class dining and great street food to cutting edge artists and performers, and even a growing fashion scene.
Hotel Berliner Hof is a basic, no-frills hotel near Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. The 76-room property occupies part of a larger commercial building, and its simple, big rooms are clean and offer great light. Some rooms also have balconies with nice city views. One unique feature here is the availability of family rooms that can sleep up to five people (kids under 16 stay for free). Though there are pesky fees for Internet (after the first hour) and the decor is utilitarian at best, the common spaces are nice and the hotel is near a big subway stop.
