Despite its large feel and extensive amenities – it has a relatively modest 51 rooms and features include three heated pools, a surprisingly excellent restaurant, children's play areas and activities, free breakfast, and the beach across the street – the hotel maintains a warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks especially to a proprietor who goes out of his way to befriend guests. Rooms are simple and feel like they perhaps haven't changed in style since the hotel was built, but they are notably clean, and many have ocean views and private balconies. For the location and atmosphere, the price offers a good value.
