I've vacationed at the Majestic Elegance Punta Cana 5 times in the last 5 years. The review above makes Majetic seem like a medocre, sub-par, resort that lack bare nessicities. Listen, Majestic Elegance is one of the greatest resorts I've ever been to. Every year, I'm treated like a King, patiently awaited on, and I have the time of my life every single trip. You can't ask for anything more than amazing time there. Whether it's liquor you like, or an amazing vacation with that special someone, Majestic Elegance does more than satisfy and is worth every penny. Highly reccomend this resort.

My Stay at the Majestic Elegance

First of all, my husband and I were booked for a normal Junior Suite...when we got to the front desk, the attendant upgraded us to the Elegance Club without us saying a word!!!! Needless to say, we were flabbergasted but, of course, very appreciative of the gesture. We had a most wonderful and relaxing vacation..the staff made us feel like royalty..the food at Flavors was delicious and we always found something new to taste..I was amazed at the cleanliness of the place, including the landscaping..We will definitely go back, next time for a longer stay. My only constructive criticism is that the bathrobes and towels should be replaced since they have become somewhat dingy and threadbare.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in Jan 2011. The resort was very clean and well kept, and the service was always great. We loved the pool and the beach was real nice. This was our first all inclusive type trip, and we both agree we would go here again. The rooms were very nice and well cared for too. The only disappointment was the buffet, although we admit to being picky eaters. I don't think you will be disappointed with choosing this resort - we were not.

My wife and I visited the Elegance in Feb. 2009 and have already booked for Feb.13, 2010. Some folks tended to complain about the Elegance, yet our experience was fine. The shower leaked....so what?? Food was fine, weather great and the staff wonderful. Try to remember where you are and enjoy yourselves. Regards form Dave and Marg in Northeast Canada!!

I agree with the Oyster review with a few added notes. First, we stayed in the adults only Elegance Club section and it was fantastic. Private pools with Bali Beds, private bars and internet lounges all included as well as a butler to take care of any needs. We had mixed experiences at the a la carte restaurants, one meal at the Italian was fantastic, so much so that we returned another day and ordered the same meal and it was average at best. The steak house was the most consistant. Overall our experience was better than expected. We will return to this property, we had a great vacation, were treated extremely well and really liked the perks that you get from the Elegance Club.
