Patio furniture, picnic tables, and newspaper vending machines are placed throughout the grounds. The resort is directly on the marina, offering 18 boat rental spaces. The boathouse bar -- that also attracts locals -- offers tables on the marina and indoor seating in a rustic room, with fishing net dangling from the ceiling. There are a pool table, foosball, darts, and several flat-screen TVs. Some snacks are available. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly.

The resort sits on an eastern harbor that’s removed from the Old Town crowds of Key West. The Old Town Trolley stop, at the Marriott Beachside Hotel, is in walking distance. Fort East Martello Museum is a two-minute drive. The closest beaches are one mile away. It’s a five-minute drive to restaurants, shops, a movie theater, and the Key Plaza Shopping Center. The Key West International Airport is a five-minute drive. Dry Tortugas National Park is a 10-minute drive. The Ernest Hemingway Museum and Key West Lighthouse are 10 minutes by car. It’s a 10-minute drive to Duval Street. Mallory Square -- near the Key West Aquarium -- is a 15-minute car trip.

Studios and One- or Two-Bedroom Premium Condos have comfy (and sometimes dated) furnishings, pastel textiles, rattan furniture, tropical decorations, and furnished balconies or patios. The best views overlook the marina or pool. Some units have lovely pitched wooden ceilings. All units have flat-screen TVs, DVD players, irons and ironing boards, free Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, air-conditioning, and some have safes. Studios have sitting and dining areas and kitchenettes with microwaves, mini-fridges, coffeemakers, and two-burner stovetops. One-Bedroom Premium Condos have partial kitchens, and two-bedroom units have two levels, living rooms, two bathrooms, and kitchens with stove/ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators, microwaves, coffeemakers, and toasters. Basic bathrooms feature hairdryers, shower/tub combos or showers, and mounted toiletries.

The property offers two outdoor pools. One pool is unshaded, with a deck that features blue lounge chairs, patio tables and umbrellas, a hammock, and a barbecue terrace with a grill. The second pool’s deck is partially shaded by trees. Around the pool there is a tiki picnic table, a hot tub, a hammock, lounge chairs, and a barbecue grill. On the harbor, the resort offers paddleboard lessons, paddleboard yoga classes, and kayak rentals. The boathouse bar is a rustic place with tables on the marina. It has a foosball table and pool table and is a popular spot for locals as well. Wi-Fi is free throughout.
