Right across the street from the beach
The Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is part of Fort Lauderdale's main strip of beach hotels, along A1A highway. Most importantly, it is right across the street from the beach.
Situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, the Hilton Fort Lauderdale has beautiful views all around and is close to many beachside hotels and restaurants. The Fort Lauderdale Beach is just across the street and Bonnet Gardens, home to beautiful flora and fauna, as well as a museum, is just blocks away.
Directly across from the beach and right next to the hipper W Fort Lauderdale, the Hilton is a large, 374-room hotel that's busy, clean, and comfortable, if somewhat predictable. Guests will find a big pool deck overlooking the ocean (though an outdoor pool bar is conspicuously absent), an adjacent restaurant with outdoor seating, a fitness center, a spa (including some outdoor massage huts), and a cafe on the ground floor (but this is the extent of the hotel's offerings, save for some meeting rooms). It's more affordable than many of its neighbors, but beware that the smallest rooms may not have balconies or even windows that open.
