Traveling for our 5 year wedding anniversary, my wife and I arrived around 7:30 at night and were informed that they were overbooked and had no king size beds available. From talking to many locals, they are often overbooked. We would be "upgraded" to an oceanview room with two double beds. The room could only see the ocean if you leaned out the window...otherwise you just looked at another building. Room looked worn and used. It was probably really nice 10 years ago. This wasn't what we expected or wanted for our anniversary trip. The staff was very nice when we requested a change. They found us the only available king room in the area and moved us to the Ritz for the duration of our stay.
Might not get what you want, but they will help fix it.
