Hotels often incorporate themes into their rooms, but these so-called themes are usually "classic elegance," "boho chic," or "understated luxury." In the case of the rooms in this slideshow, however, the themes are a bit more specific -- and over-the-top. From a suite that Barbie would approve of, to a room dedicated to David Beckham (and, in particular, his abs), we've found some amazing themed rooms and suites that are worth a visit (or at least a look). This three-tower, off-the-Strip hotel is known for its crazy parties and celebrity stopovers, so it's not wonder the rooms are completely over-the-top. From the sultry Erotic Suite, to the Lebowski-worthy Kingpin Suite, to the A-list Celebrity Suite, the Palms earns its reputation as one of the best stays in Vegas. Even America's favorite Malibu girl has a place at the Palms! Check out the entire album here! A fun-and-games theme and free happy hours give the Hotel Serrano character, but it's the funky Wicked Suite that really catches our eye! With nods the famed musical throughout the room -- including the bathroom -- every Broadway fan would love a stay in this San Francisco suite. Check out the entire album here! From the outside the Pitcher Inn might appear like a typical New England B&B, but once inside, the quality and character of this property is revealed. All 11 rooms and suites are individually decorated according to a different theme -- such as mountain, ski, or trout -- and feature knickknacks and antiques that are unique to Vermont. These rooms have so much character, they could each have their own slideshow! Check out the entire album here! The 32 unique rooms -- like the stripey Executive Zebra or the trippy Psychedelic(ate) Girl -- at this boutique hotel are fun and wacky. And yes, you read the title correctly; the hotel even has a "Best Whorehouse" (in Miami) room. Check out the entire album here! The Roxbury is one of the funkiest hotels in the Catskills region. All of its 27 rooms have bright, bold decor and modern technologies. But Theme Studios feature styles inspired by movies, cartoons, and TV shows from the 1960s and '70s, including the Indian Jones-worthy Archaeologist's Digs room and the insanely cool Amadeus' Bride Suite. This massive, 1,073-room upscale Fairmont is located in bustling Downtown Montreal, but inside the John and Yoko Suite, the vibe is decidedly peaceful. The room was the site of the couple's famed "Bed-In for Peace" and the "Give Peace a Chance" recording in 1969, and is now decorated with gold records and other memorabilia from the artists. The room serves as a fitting tribute to the couple and their efforts for peace. Check out the entire album here! A glamorous, ultra-hip hangout, the 153-room Hotel ZaZa is a cool alternative to the luxurious, but sometimes stuffy, hotels in Uptown Dallas.
