• A good (but expensive) restaurant and a casual bistro on-site
• Nice outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, complete with a Finnish sauna
• Limited-size spa offering small treatment menu

Cons

• Overall property and rooms are a bit tired and dated
• The all-Alpine theme comes across as cheesy in places
• Some rooms face the parking lot
• Some rooms have terribly low ceilings and tube TVs

Bottom Line

This no-frills 42-room ski lodge, with its wood-panel walls, worn carpeting, dated furniture, and occasional cheesy design touches, feels like it could have belonged in the Swiss Alps two decades ago. But the location, just steps away from ski lifts, is hard to beat. The outdoor pool and Jacuzzi are huge pluses, but the great freebies are what could definitely tip the scale if you’re looking for a good value: free hearty breakfast, free Wi-Fi, free parking, and free fondue parties in the winter. Just don’t expect a luxurious stay -- for that you may want to consider nearby, often comparably priced Teton Mountain Lodge.
