My girlfriends and I recently vacayed in Jamaica at Beaches, Negril in July 2011. The good part of our vaca is that we were there together. The bad part was that the rooms are very old and haven't been rennovated....at all by the looks of it. We had to change rooms because one of our rooms was smelly. I can also say that the "sand fleas" made our experience horrible. Two of us were bitten so bad that we had to see doctors when we returned to the states. Now...the people are wonderful! They tried to accomodate us as much as they could and made us feel as comfortable as possible. But we will NOT be going back...to this resort especially. And no, there isn't a night life for adults. But again, we made the best of it. They may want to rethink showing us a newly modeled bathroom on the website that is a picture from the Turks and Caicos resort from what I was told by one of the staff members. Because that is false advertisement. Needless to say.... I will ask when the property was built at the next resort we stay in.

Don't purchase another vacation thru the resort while vacationing.

They offer this great deal for next year’s vacation at a discount rate. I was hesitant but went ahead and made a reservation on the last day of our vacation for another trip a year and a half later. I was told my travel agent would be notified of our plans and invoices will be sent to her. No worries. I was assured we would be able to change our reservation or cancel without any problems or get a full refund. We paid $400 at that time. We never received an invoice and she was notified the day after the payment was past due. She had no idea what they were talking about. Beaches demanded immediate payment, was unwilling to move the dates or give me a refund because it was past the deadline. They admitted there was not record of any previous notification and apologized that we must have fallen through the cracks but said there was nothing they could do at this juncture. They would let us move the dates but would have to penalize us an additional $150 per person. Although they assured me we would get notified as well as our agent in plenty of time they put the blame on me that we should kept up with it better. Great customer service!!!!!!!

I stayed here about a year ago and the nightlife here was amazing! There was only one club and it was upstairs and it was called Club Liquid. The music was awesome, as was the atmosphere of the club. We had more fun in that club than we did on the beach. We danced all night and drank endless shots of all colors. :) This place was awesome.
