We cannot complain about this hotel in anyway, all in all was great, great food, drinks, people were nice, rooms were clean, even seen them shampooing carpets in the halls on all floors. The room was to die for, excellent veiw of the ocean, and a huge wrap around balconly. Trip was so good am going back in the winter this year with freinds as well.
Great Pool, however

My husband and I spent 2 weeks at this resort and agree with many of the comments regarding "pool lounge chairs are reserved with towels", sometimes as early as 7am. Reason for the time??? Each evening they collect all chair pads and chairs, store them away until next morning. Service staff everywhere on the property are fantastic, they remember you and what you like to drink, and are very accomodating, with one exception. This property caters primarily to Europeans of several different countries but mainly Spain, and Canadians. Also age group tends to be older people and families with children of all ages. Catering to their European clientele is an understatement! We witnessed such abuse to waitstaff at all levels. We witnessed (every day!!) the mainly Europeans yell and scream at servers, throw (yes, and hit!) bottles, glasses, ashtrays, etc. and management does little to nothing to intervene. They'll (mangement staff) remove and replace servers!! Also true, location, there is literally nothing around this resort, going anywhere is 30 to 60 minutes away! For these reasons we will not return to this resort, why should we, the Caribbean is full of beautiful (kinder, happier!) resorts.

I've been at this hotel in September of 2009. It is by far the best I've ever been. I want to go back sooooo bad & I definitely will someday. This place is spectacular. I have no complaints at all...the beach, pool, food, service, hotel was amazinggg. I highly highly recommend anyone to go here. I miss u Jamaica, love u grand bahia...we will meet again...lol I give you 5 stars + more...lol
