The Casa Andina Private Collection could be considered one of the top hotels in Lima, if it weren't for the lackluster decor. Rooms feel somewhat bland (despite the Peruvian artwork throughout), but they are huge across the board and have flat-screen TVs, plentiful natural light, and comfortable beds. The Imperial Suite has a decidedly more luxe bathroom than the rest, as it features a marble Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Solid amenities, such as the indoor rooftop pool, Joop Salon, and fitness center with modern equipment, help the property stand out from its competitors. It's a good pick for business travelers and couples alike.

The Casa Andina is located on a calmer side street in Miraflores, just steps away from shopping, cafes, restaurants, and nightlife. There is also a 24-hour supermarket nearby.
Most visitors to Lima flock straight to Miraflores, which is widely known for its shopping areas, gardens, well-maintained parks, and beaches. It's one of Lima's more upscale areas, and is a cultural center with theaters, galleries, and cinemas. The area is home to many hotels, cafes, pubs, restaurants, and stores -- Calle de Las Pizzas ("Pizza Street") is lined with pubs and bars that are filled with teenagers and young adults (especially on the weekends).
The beaches here are popular with surfers and sunbathers (especially during the hot summer months), and are a great alternative to walking around in unbearably warm weather. In general, the area is safe and is popular with Peruvians and international tourists alike.
