In northern Miraflores, a short drive from major attractions, shopping, and dining
The San Blas is located on a busy boulevard in the northern part of bustling Miraflores. It’s very close to residential San Isidro, and there are several embassies in the immediate neighborhood of the hotel. The area is generally safe, and the only remaining pre-Incan ruins in the area are a quick drive from the hotel.
Most visitors to Lima flock straight to Miraflores, which is widely known for its shopping areas, gardens, well-maintained parks, and beaches. It's one of Lima's more upscale areas and is a cultural center with theaters, galleries, and cinemas. The area is home to many hotels, cafes, pubs, restaurants, and stores that are popular with both tourists and locals: Calle de Las Pizzas ("Pizza Street") is lined with pubs and bars that are filled with teenagers and young adults (especially on the weekends). The beaches here are popular with surfers and sunbathers alike (especially during the hot summer months) and are a great alternative to walking around in unbearably warm weather.
San Blas is a small mid-range property located in northern Miraflores, close to shopping, dining and attractions. It has 38 basic but clean rooms with generic contemporary decor, a tiny average restaurant, and a few computers in a hallway. There’s no fitness center or pool, but the flat-screen TVs, Jacuzzi tubs (in Executive rooms), and free Wi-Fi make this one of the best picks for the value in Lima.
