Chateau Marmont — User Comments Rating: 3.5 Pearls

Last year I spent one night with my daughter and two of her friends at the Chateau Marmont when we arrived in L.A. Unfortunately, because the price was a little high for this single mother, we only booked it for one night and booked another hotel for the next three. It was a big mistake that we did this because our stay at the Chateau was wonderful. We had a suite with a living room, kitchen, dining area and separate bedroom. We had an excellent lunch on the patio and room service later that night which was also excellent. The staff were all very friendly beginning with the valets, the front desk, the wait staff--I had no complaints about any of them. The room did have old furniture, but it was lovely and charming and also had all of the modern equipment as well--large flatscreens in living room and bedroom, WiFi, DVD player. Also, the mini-bar snacks were great and they didn't cost anything, only the drinks. This year we are returning for four nights and this time, it will be the Chateau for all four!
