In the heart of upscale Salamanca neighborhood, within walking distance of world-class shopping and attractions
The Hesperia Hermosilla has one of the most coveted addresses in central Madrid -- right in the heart of ritzy Salamanca, the most upscale area in the city center. The neighborhood is home to high-end boutiques and chain stores, great restaurants, and a bunch of major attractions, such as the Retiro Park, the National Library, and the Archaeological Museum. There are few nightlife spots here, but Alonso Martinez and Chueca are an easy walk away. Proximity to the Metro -- located a block away from the hotel -- makes it easy to move around.
The Hesperia Hermosilla is a small mid-range hotel in the heart of upscale Salamanca neighborhood, within walking distance of great shopping, dining, attractions and public transportation. Its 67 rooms are quiet and bright, and come equipped with flat-screen TVs, stocked minibars, comfortable beds, and free Wi-Fi. Details such as a few dark orange velvet accents and striped wallpaper make rooms more attractive than your standard business hotel room, but the hotel is showing its age, and there are no suites available. There’s an appealing breakfast room with a glass ceiling, but there’s no full restaurant service, and the hotel lacks a fitness center.
