Bottom Line

The NH Madrid Paseo de la Habana is located near the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and the business district. Everything about this hotel seems to be geared towards the business traveler: clean, comfortable rooms with safes big enough for a laptop, work desks, flat-screen TVs, and stocked minibars. Some rooms have nice balconies and huge bathrooms, while all have hardwood floors and contemporary decor. La Habana Restaurant serves solid Mediterranean fare until late, and there is also a cocktail bar on-site. Leisure travelers might want to look elsewhere, unless they're planning to attend a Real Madrid soccer match.

NH Madrid Paseo de la Habana

Location

Blocks from the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and the business district, but far from major attractions

The NH Madrid Paseo de La Habana is located in a residential area very close to the business district of Plaza de Castilla. There aren’t any major attractions nearby aside from the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, where the Real Madrid soccer team plays. Paseo de la Castellana and the area around the stadium are full of restaurants and bars. Avenida de Brasil and Torre Europa are two nightlife areas a short walk from the hotel. Colombia Metro station, served by the 8 line that goes to the airport, is just a few blocks east, and Line 9 (at Colombia too), and Line 10 right by the stadium, are also convenient, but transfers are required to reach most tourist sights.
