The NH Ribera Del Manzanares is located in a quiet, residential part of Madrid. This 224-room property offers river views along with modern rooms decorated in soft tones. Light wood floors, nice bathrooms, and bright lighting all give the rooms a contemporary feel. Amenities include flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. NH Madrid Ribera del Manzanares

Location

In the Calderon (aka Imperial) area, near Calderon Stadium

The NH Ribera Del Manzanares is in the Calderon neighborhood, named for the massive stadium just to the south of the hotel, home to the Atletico de Madrid soccer club. It's officially known as the Imperial neighborhood, and is mainly a quiet, residential part of town. Guests will need to take buses or walk to the nearest metro station to reach central Madrid.

One benefit of the area (besides the subdued atmosphere) is its proximity to Austrias and La Latina. Austrias is a romantic, charming area with cobblestone streets and some of Madrid's oldest buildings (some dating back to the 17th century), including the Royal Palace. La Latina is Madrid's most happening nightlife quarter, home to tiny authentic bars and al fresco dining restaurants. Imperial is also getting more love from locals thanks to the creation of parks and public spaces along the river, converted from the former highway. They're so well-designed, many claim that they top even Parque del Retiro in many ways.

  • 16-minute drive to Madrid-Barajas Airport
  • 12-minute bus ride to La Latina, a nightlife hotspot
  • 16-minute subway ride to shopping on Gran Via
  • 16-minute subway ride to Plaza de Oriente, home to the Royal Palace, the Royal Theater, and Sabatini Gardens
  • 19-minute subway ride to Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor
  • 24-minute subway ride to Templo de Debod Park, with great views and an original Egyptian temple
  • 24-minute subway ride to Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum
  • 24-minute subway ride to Atocha train station
  • 24-minute subway ride to Reina Sofia Museum
  • 25-minute subway ride to Retiro Park, Madrid's most famous garden
  • 28-minute subway ride to El Prado Museum
  • 39-minute subway ride to Plaza de Castilla, the financial district
