Right off Gran Via in Sol, within walking distance of major sights
Petit Palace Tres Cruces is in the lively shopping area of Sol, less than a block from Gran Via. Gran Via is one of the most iconic avenues in Madrid, with beautiful turn-of-the-century architecture, designer boutiques, hotels, and lots of traffic. The location is ideal for those who want to explore the sights on foot and take in Madrid's lively yet laid-back ambiance. Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Cibeles, the grand Palacio de Comunicaciones, Puerta de Alcala, and Retiro Park are all within easy walking distance. Chueca, the hopping gay neighborhood, full of intimate restaurants, bars, and cool shops is just across the street from the hotel.
The Petit Palace Tres Cruces is centrally located in Sol, a short walk from restaurants, shops, and attractions. Updated, clean rooms have flat-screen TVs, stocked minibars, and free Wi-Fi; some have Juliette balconies. Family rooms with bunk beds are a good deal for people traveling with kids or in groups. Bathrooms are small but modern and offer hydro-massage showers, though some guests complain about a lack of privacy from frosted glass bathroom doors. This 59-room hotel has a nice breakfast room, but no free bicycle rentals like at other Petit Palace hotels.
