Quiet and relaxed in a neighborhood known for nightlife
The Pestana features the Art Deco-meets-beachy decor that is common in South Beach hotels. Four historic buildings make up the property, with a charming patio at the entrance. The lobby has plush tan and white furniture and beach photographs from the '30s and '40s. Unlike its party-centric neighbors, this property is quiet and attracts guests looking for relaxation over nightlife.
On a quiet block off Collins Avenue
The Pestana is located one block from Collins Avenue, a stretch of South Beach crowded with lively bars, restaurants, and clubs. The beach is two blocks away and the hotel is also within walking distance of popular hotels such as the Delano and Clevelander. A slightly removed location allows guests to easily go out and party, but return to a quiet hotel. Miami International Airport is 25 minutes away by taxi.
Bright and modern rooms
The Pestana has 97 rooms and two two-bedroom apartments. They are all bright and clean, decorated in beachy shades of khaki, cream, and blue. Retro black-and-white beach photographs add to the Art Deco vibe. Rooms have free Wi-Fi, big flat-screen TVs, work desks, coffeemakers, and laptop-sized safes.
A nice pool in a sunny courtyard
The highlight at the Pestana is its lovely outdoor pool. In a quiet courtyard surrounded by the hotel’s buildings, the pool is surrounded by plush lounge chairs and a couple cabanas. The hotel restaurant and bar is located adjacent to the pool. Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms and the small, quiet lobby but there is no fitness center or business center.
Located off Collins Avenue, The Pestana South Beach is a quiet, relaxed 99-room boutique two blocks from the beach. A central courtyard has a lovely pool with tall palm trees along with a bar and restaurant. Rooms are modern and bright with big flat-screen TVs, but there is no fitness center or business center. A variety of restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance. Guests may want to compare prices with nearby mid-range options such as the Albion (which does have a fitness center) and the Cadet Hotel.
