Add CommentI got a pretty decent rate on the room however my recent stay at this hotel was a very underwhelming experience. I would pay more to be somewhere else next time.
The music from the adjacent restaurant/bar was so loud in the lobby that it was impossible to hear the front desk staff as I checked in. I had to ask him to repeat himself three times which he begrudgingly did.
The room was really warm despite the a/c unit running on high (controlled by a thermostat which was dangling loose on the wall). When I asked the front desk to send up a maintenance person, a guy who spoke no english showed up. The next 10 minutes was just a ridiculous game of sign language as I tried to explain that the room was too warm. After a frustrating period of trying to communicate with him over and over, the guy said "You want more hot?". NO!!!
If you dial zero from the phone in the room, you get a recording with options to other recordings. After trying every option, I never was able to reach anyone on the phone during the entire 2 day stay.
The bed was lumpy and sloped to one side. It felt like they never have flipped or rotated the mattress.
I am a Starwood Preferred Guest so I tend to prefer booking Starwood Hotels however I would definitely skip this one in the future.
Once is enough.
