Add CommentJust would like to add another comment to my previous one: besides the ropes, we also had very confortable room slippers. And there was a coffee maker in the room.
Stayed at Mela last month for 7 days before Easter. Had booked the smaller room on a very low rate and was upgraded to a Deluxe King room in the 16th floor! Loved the room, the bed, the staff and location. It was so confortable to arrive at night feeling safe. Just a few steps from Times Square and yet, a very quiet room. The bistro next door is lovely and there are plenty of restaurant and snack options around. I highly reccomend Mela and would love to stay there again.
I used the on-site fitness facility every day during my week long stay. My husband and I would notice other guests walking into the fitness room and ask us where the restrooms were. Then we realized that guests on the lobby level were told to take the elevator up to the Fitness Room to use the Restrooms. Felt awkward, but understandable as it is a boutique hotel..and you never know what to expect.
Very pleasent stay!
