The resort also provides daily supervised activities for kids.

Although seemingly geared towards adults, The Parker still sees its fair share of families -- and offers them plenty to do. There are no officially planned kids' activities, but the resort has croquet, four pools, a volleyball net, and a free lemonade stand -- all which kids enjoy. Plus, the hotel has spacious modern rooms, bungalows, and villas with stylish white decor and balconies -- all large enough for families.

Desert Breezes is a time-share gated community with family homes mixed in. The resort atrracts families with its safe location and long list of special features: a lounge with TV and games, a library, well-maintained tennis courts (guests must pay a fee to use them), and a putting green, to name a few. The rooms (studios, or one- or two-bedroom suites) come with well-equipped full kitchens. There are also three pools and 11 Jacuzzis.
