The Two Bunch Palms Resort and Spa is located in Desert Hot Springs in the Coachella Valley.
Desert Hot Springs is a relatively large town in the Coachella Valley famous for -- you guessed it -- its natural hot springs. The town itself is fairly residential but can be a peaceful escape for travelers. It's about 30 minutes from Palm Springs.
Once known as a destination only suited for spring breakers or retirees, Palm Springs has become a classy and clean desert destination for anyone looking for an uncluttered city with resort amenities. With a healthy gay scene and the Coachella valley (and music festival) just over 30 minutes away, the Palm Springs crowd is slowly becoming harder and harder to define. Most who come are there to spend, exercise and relax.
All bathrooms have been renovated for a spa-inspired look and have rain showerheads.
The upscale Two Bunch Resort and Spa is renowned for its natural mineral springs -- such as its relaxing grotto with waterfall. Set on 56 acres of nature, guests come here to relax and take advantage of the amazing spa, hot springs, many hiking trails, lakes, and free yoga classes. Al Capone supposedly came here when he wanted to unwind. Guests looking for activities like golf, tennis, or shopping should look elsewhere -- this place is about kicking back. Airy rooms, located either near the spa (the "Grotto" rooms) or past the meditation lakes (the "Fountain" rooms), can have details such as tile floors and wood beam ceilings. But they vary quite a bit -- some are understated and luxurious, while others feel a bit bare and outdated.
