Sterling Breeze is a towering 23-floor structure by Sterling Resorts that sits on the sandy shores of Panama City Beach. Located only 15 minutes away from the restaurants and retailers of Pier Park, this resort offers 145 condos with full kitchens and washer/dryers, as well as an entertainment center with unlimited DVD rentals. Each unit also has a private balcony with its own electric grill. Condo decor varies significantly; some units are well maintained while others have leaky ceilings and broken appliances. This high-rise also has only two elevators, resulting in long waiting periods during peak times. Parking is also located far from the building. However, the easy beach access, big outdoor pool, and great location makes it worthy of consideration.

It’s an especially popular destination during spring break, drawing over 100,000 high school and college students. Along with a number of high-rise condos and hotels -- built up during a mid-2000s construction boom -- the city’s main strip is lined with a variety of mini-golf businesses, arcades, souvenir shops, and seafood restaurants. Other nearby attractions include the scuba diving shop Diver’s Den, Pier Park, St. Andrews State Park, and the Museum of Man in the Sea.
