A block from historic Le Marais, close to shopping, dining, and the Metro
Hotel Beaumarchais is located on a small street off Boulevard du Temple, which marks the eastern border of historic Le Marais. There are several restaurants and lots of small local stores in the area, plus upscale shopping and great dining in Le Marais a few blocks away.
The Le Marais neighborhood is rich in culture and history. There are many attractions within walking distance, and historic Place des Vosges, a tree-lined square with beautiful stone buildings and a colonnade, is a 10-minute walk away. World-famous Rue de Rivoli -- where L’Hotel de Ville (the city hall), the Louvre, and the Tuileries Garden and Palace are all located -- is a quick stroll away.
The Hotel Beaumarchais is a hostel-style property -- without the bunk beds -- located near the historic Le Marais district. This colorful hotel is decorated in bright shades of pink, yellow, and red. Basic rooms have flat-screen TVs and plastic furniture. Although the bedding isn't luxurious, different room configurations are on offer, including single and triple rooms. Bathrooms are equally funky and offer shower/tub combos. The quirky breakfast room has outdoor seating and serves all-day breakfast, and 24-hour room service is available. While budget travelers might be drawn to this property for its location and price, there have been some complaints about cleanliness and heating issues.
