The 358-room Grand Summit features rooms and suites outfitted in typical Park City style -- warm colors, Western patterns, and mountain-themed artwork -- but the decor never crosses the line into kitschy (even if it can't be described as "elegant" either). The hotel's location -- right in The Canyons village with a ski-in/ski-out location -- is the highlight, but amenities like a heated outdoor pool, fitness center, nail salon, spa and various shops make it a nice choice for guests looking for more to do than hit the slopes.

At the base of The Canyons Mountain with excellent ski-in/ski-out access
The largest ski area in Park City and the fifth largest in the U.S., The Canyons is the more laid-back, family-friendly option in Park City. The focus here isn't on partying or fine dining (though it has a bit of each) -- here, it's all about the slopes. There are slopes for every level of skier, and some of the beginner slopes offer the most beautiful views.
The hotel is situated in the middle of The Canyons village, within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and the slopes.
