In the heart of affluent Condado, a block from a busy beach
Once a booming area catering to foreign tourism, and then forgotten and somewhat sketchy, Condado became an affluent beachfront neighborhood after the remarkable rehabilitation carried out in the late 90s and early 2000s. Avenida Ashford is the main strip, where restaurants, upscale boutiques and casinos line the sidewalks.
You will have to take the bus to the main tourist attractions in Old San Juan, however, and the beach is busier than those east of Condado.

- 2-minute walk to the beach
- 11-minute walk to the Museum of Art of Puerto Rico
- 10-minute drive to El Morro
