Hotel Mozart

A 1700s building is the pretty setting for the Hotel Mozart, which has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a cozy, traditional lobby. Comfortable gray and blue couches provide seating in the lobby while wood floors and classic artwork run throughout. A fireplace and potted plants also adorn the elegant, spacious area, as do free newspapers. In the breakfast room there are lovely wood floors, pale green walls, and a mix of antique and modern style. White and gray armchairs surround the marble-topped tables and there is a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall. On an upper floor there's a terrace covered in hanging vines and flowers with wood lounge seating and potted plants in addition to the rooftop garden with a bar. Beautiful panoramic views can be seen from the rooftop garden, and there are wood chairs and tables for dining.

The Hotel Mozart has a wonderful central location in the historic district on a picturesque, narrow street. The Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, San Giacomo Church, and Piazza di Spagna are a five-minute walk away, as are many restaurants and luxury shops. Around a 10-minute walk away are public transportation, the Pantheon, Villa Borghese, and Piazza Trinita dei Monti, while the Trevi Fountain is a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Rome Termini Train Station is about a 10-minute drive, and both the Leonardo da Vinci International Airport and the Ciampino Airport are about a 30-minute drive away.

Room sizes vary greatly at the Hotel Mozart, from Standard Rooms that are quite tight on space up to Junior Suites. This property also offers the Vivaldi Luxury Rooms and Elite Apartments for longer stays within a two-minute walk. All on-site rooms have a classic, somewhat basic style with curved headboards painted in a vintage fashion, yellow walls, and blue bed runners. Antique light fixtures and reddish-brown tile run throughout, as does air-conditioning, and there are 42-inch flat-screen TVs mounted to the walls. Minibars with bottled water sit inside mid-tone wood desks while electric kettles, coffee, and tea sit on top. Some rooms have balconies or terraces with excellent city views while others have seating areas with wood chairs and tables. Contemporary bathrooms are covered in tan marble tile, with hairdryers and Frija toiletries provided. Some have heated towel racks and jetted tubs while others only have showers. In-room Wi-Fi is free. 

A generous breakfast buffet is included in the room rate and offers pies, eggs, pastries, breads, espresso, meats, and cheeses, and it receives good reviews from guests. Small plates including pizza and desserts in addition to wine are available at the roof garden bar, and there are cocktails, beer, and snacks at the Bar Jupiter in the lounge. Two computers and printers are provided in the business center, and both the concierge services and front desk are 24/7. Free Wi-Fi runs throughout the hotel. However, there is no on-site parking so guests must park in a nearby garage with an expensive daily fee. The rooftop lounge space, with lots of hanging vines and comfy lounge chairs, is a particular highlight of this property.
