Mecenate Palace is located on a cobbled street near Termini Station, a bit far from most major sights. It is right next to Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, a beautiful church first constructed in the fifth century (and majorly revamped in the 18th century), and within walking distance of Termini station.
Rome is known as the "Eternal City," and is full of ancient ruins, museums, cafes, shopping, and famous monuments. Some of the most popular attractions include St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museum, the Pantheon, the Roman Forum, and the Colosseum.
