Feels like walking into a charming old Spanish Colonial home
Be prepared to see some outstanding architectural features as you enter this hotel by the San Antonio River Walk -- arched doorways lead to the hotel lobby and a winding wrought iron staircase. And the rooms themselves offer the same feel, with antique-style furnishings, exposed brick, and beamed ceilings.
The ground level patio pool, located just beyond the in the lush courtyard, is lively (and sometimes loud). Guests can catch a mariachi band, a limbo contest, or a family-friendly movie here, depending on the night.
