The Spanish Colonial architecture of the Omni La Mansion del Rio gives the upscale hotel a relaxed hacienda feel. The vibe is carried on in one of the city's best hotel restaurants, Las Canarias, as well as mariachi performances at the comfortable and lively heated outdoor pool. Some guests may miss the presence of an on-site spa and fitness center, but these are found just across the River Walk, within five minutes’ walking distance, at its sister hotel, the Mokara Hotel & Spa.

Be prepared to see some outstanding architectural features as you enter this hotel by the San Antonio River Walk -- arched doorways lead to the hotel lobby and a winding wrought iron staircase. And the rooms themselves offer the same feel, with antique-style furnishings, exposed brick, and beamed ceilings.
The ground level patio pool, located just beyond the lobby in the lush courtyard, is lively (and sometimes loud). Guests can catch a mariachi band, a limbo contest, or a family-friendly movie here, depending on the night.
Right on San Antonio’s famed River Walk with a number of excellent restaurants nearby and close to tourist attractions
The Omni La Mansion Del Rio is one of many hotels right on the city's famed River Walk. Nearby you'll find lots of great restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.
San Antonio offers lots of activities for families, with the San Antonio Zoo, Sea World of Texas, dude ranches, and water parks. If golf is your thing, you can pick from more than 25 area golf courses (there is one just four miles from the hotel).
Spacious and classic with beamed ceilings and charming Spanish details
Exposed brick, wood-beamed ceilings, and French doors against soothing earth tones create a serene vibe in the hotel's 338 rooms and suites.
Heated outdoor pool is a plus, though fitness center and spa are located across the river
One of the city’s best restaurants, plus a handful of other cafe and bar options on-site
