Close to a local airport and many tourist destinations
Santa Barbara is an affluent community in Santa Barbara County, home to five colleges and universities, as well as a large yachting population. Swaddled between the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez Mountains, this charming town is known for its Spanish-inspired architecture, surfing, and the nightlife that dots State Street.
Harbor House Inn rests in a peaceful residential area only a few minutes' walk from West Beach. Down West Cabrillo Boulevard, you'll find local shopping and restaurants, as well as Stearn's Wharf, which juts out into the harbor.
Harbor House Inn looks like something out of a Disney fairytale: Charming and quaint, this 17-room bed and breakfast-style inn sits in a quiet residential area just minutes from West Beach. All rooms are decked with antique furnishings and unique decor. Some studios are more modern, with big upholstered sleigh beds and intricately decorated bathrooms, while others have a homey, but more basic, feel. Guests are welcomed with a free breakfast basket, and can help themselves to free bike rentals to ride the town. Although the inn has no pool, it's close to the beach and a slew of tourist attractions, such as Stearn's Wharf.
