Bottom Line

The stylish 179-room Hotel Plaza El Bosque Park was built with the modern business traveler in mind. Located along El Bosque Avenue in Las Condes, it is surrounded by banks, stores, commercial buildings, and restaurants. Each of the cozy rooms is sleekly decorated and comes with LCD flat-screen TVs, wired and Wi-Fi internet access, and in-room safes. (Upgrade from standard to executive for a small but handy kitchen). The grander accommodations, such as the Presidential suite, are much more spacious and come with luxuries such as a separate dining room. For a quick bite, guests can grab a midday snack or cocktail in the lobby bar. Or, for a more formal occasion, the hotel has two on-site restaurants that offer nice views and Chilean cuisine. Other perks include a game room with pool and card games, a heated pool and Jacuzzi, sauna, spa, and a large fitness center -- all helpful in unwinding after a day at work (or touring the sites).

Hotel Plaza El Bosque Ebro

Location

Strategically located in Santiago’s financial district, Las Condes

Hotel Plaza El Bosque Park is located in Las Condes, the city's financial district, close to banks, commercial buildings, offices, and restaurants. The area's residents are typically of the middle-upper class. The most commercial area is by Apoquindo Avenue, which has been dubbed “Sanhattan,” a portmanteau of Santiago and Manhattan.

Although the city has a storied past, marked by battles over colonialism and freedom, present-day Santiago is a bustling, loud, ever-growing and ever-evolving metropolis populated with nearly seven million people. Aside from being the political and economic center of Chile, it is also fast becoming the country's hub for arts, entertainment, food and drink, and culture. The dynamic city is dotted with museums, theaters, bars, and different vibrant neighborhoods that cater to various crowds, such as the bohemian artists, culinary elite, and politicians. What makes this urban center especially unique is the fact that it's surrounded by the beautiful, glistening snow-capped Andes Mountains. Although Santiago has had a problem with smog and air pollution, it's still difficult not to be impressed by this stunning natural backdrop.

  • 30-minute drive to Santiago Arturo Merino Benitez Airport
  • 11-minute drive to Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes
