Grace Bay Club

Grace Bay Club Rating: 4.5 Pearls

Opened in 1993, Grace Bay Club is Turks and Caicos’ original luxury benchmark. With essentially three different resorts offering three distinct accommodation styles, this 82-room beachfront property continues to raise the bar with lots of popular dining options, a 5,000-square foot spa, an impressive kids' club, and three pristine infinity-edge pools.

Seven Stars Resort

Seven Stars Resort Rating: 4.0 Pearls

Distance: 1.4 mi from Turks and Caicos Islands + Grace Bay Club - Turks and Caicos Islands

This 115-room beachfront resort manages to provide elegant, spacious suites, exceptional service, and a plethora of amenities for rates often much lower than competing properties'. With three dining options, a heated saltwater pool, a spa, a kids' club, a 24-hour fitness center, and a sprawling beachfront, Seven Stars is in the same league as the island's top resorts. It's nearly perfect, except for a cramped business center, cheap beach furniture, and expensive, though excellent, dining.

The Tuscany on Grace Bay

The Tuscany on Grace Bay Rating: 4.0 Pearls

Distance: 1.4 mi from Turks and Caicos Islands + Grace Bay Club - Turks and Caicos Islands

Made up of 42 huge three-bedroom luxury units (which can be converted to one- and two-bedroom suites), this condo resort offers stunning views of the sea from its lovely pool as well as from every balcony. Sure, there’s no on-site restaurant, bar, or spa, but full kitchens, a picturesque beach, and a short walk or drive to the island’s best shopping, dining, and golf help make up for shortcomings.

Ocean Club Resort

Ocean Club Resort Rating: 3.5 Pearls

Distance: 1.4 mi from Turks and Caicos Islands + Grace Bay Club - Turks and Caicos Islands

On a beach lined with high-end properties, the Ocean Club Resort is decidedly mid-range. But it still has its advantages: a beachfront location, an on-site cafe and bar, two pools, and a fitness center. Sure, tacky rooms need some aesthetic rehabilitation and the size of the pools is hardly worth getting excited about, but the price is right.

La Vista Azul Resort

La Vista Azul Resort Rating: 3.5 Pearls

Distance: 4.8 mi from Turks and Caicos Islands + Grace Bay Club - Turks and Caicos Islands

Made up of 78 large one- and two-bedroom luxury condos (each with a kitchen and washer/dryer), this condo-hotel complex offers stunning views of the Caribbean via two rooftop pools and huge balconies in every unit. There's no beach access (the property is one of few not even located near Grace Bay), restaurant, overnight desk staff, or spa; guests come for the beautiful views and accessible price tag.

West Bay Club

West Bay Club Rating: 4.5 Pearls

Distance: 5.6 mi from Turks and Caicos Islands + Grace Bay Club - Turks and Caicos Islands

A beachfront condo resort tucked away on the western edge of Grace Bay, the 46-room West Bay Club offers excellent value for a luxury property. High-end rooms ranging from studios to four-bedrooms are airy and stylish, and all but the studios feature large balconies. The relaxing infinity-edge pool, modern gym and small poolside bar and grill add to the hotel's sophisticated yet low-key sensibility.

Gansevoort Turks and Caicos, a Wymara Resort

Gansevoort Turks and Caicos, a Wymara Resort Rating: 4.5 Pearls

Distance: 5.6 mi from Turks and Caicos Islands + Grace Bay Club - Turks and Caicos Islands

The Gansevoort is without a doubt the sexiest resort on Grace Bay, and its stunning pool and breeze-filled lobby wow guests from the moment they set foot on the property. Equally enticing are the resort’s gourmet restaurant, poolside and beachside service, sleek rooms, and Exhale Spa, but pricey add-ons for virtually everything can make guests feel nickel-and-dimed.

Windsong Resort

Windsong Resort Rating: 4.0 Pearls

Distance: 6.0 mi from Turks and Caicos Islands + Grace Bay Club - Turks and Caicos Islands

The 50-room Windsong might seem like an affordable beachfront resort, but its only inexpensive rooms -- though upscale -- are among the smallest in Providenciales, and lack balconies. There is no spa or tennis court, but a cool swimming complex, cafe, fitness center, and entertainment venue make for a decent amenity list. Good thing -- because unless you are prepared to fork over the big bucks for a suite, you likely won't be spending too much time in your tiny room.

Reef Residences

Reef Residences Rating: 3.0 Pearls

Distance: 6.0 mi from Turks and Caicos Islands + Grace Bay Club - Turks and Caicos Islands

This condo-hotel is a solid mid-range option on pricey Turks and Caicos, with 24 spacious -- if slightly worn -- suites featuring full kitchens, sofa beds, and sprawling patios. Features are adequate for a small condo property -- there's a small pool, fitness center, and spa -- and it's only a 100-yard stroll to the beach.

Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort & Spa

Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort & Spa Rating: 4.5 Pearls

Distance: 6.5 mi from Turks and Caicos Islands + Grace Bay Club - Turks and Caicos Islands

With ten pools, a sprawling water park, a shopping center, a spa complex, and more restaurants than you can shake a breadstick at, the family-friendly Beaches is clearly the Turks and Caicos resort with the most features. But many of the rooms -- especially in the old Caribbean Village – are downright dingy, and the romance factor is virtually non-existent. Still, an all-inclusive resort with this many amenities is enticing -- unless it's peace and quiet you’re after.
