Newpark Resort & Hotel

Newpark Resort & Hotel Rating: 4.0 Pearls

The Newpark Resort & Hotel is a large, four pearl property in a pedestrian mall. The resort offers 124 rooms and suites with kitchenettes along with 20 two-bedroom townhouses. While the hotel does not have its own restaurant, there are a number of places to eat within close walking distance, some of which can deliver to rooms. Although the property is a 15-minute drive to the slopes, ski storage and tuneup as well as shuttles to all of the local ski areas makes the Newpark more convenient for skiers than its location would suggest.
Main & SKY

Main & SKY Rating: 4.0 Pearls

Main & SKY is upscale from top to bottom, featuring chic boutique-y decor melded with homey mountain style. The suites and residences are massive and high-end, sporting working fireplaces, kitchenettes or kitchens with modern appliances, private balconies (many with hot tubs), and washer/dryers. Bathrooms in the residences are palatial, with two sinks, double showers and soaking tubs (some even have flat-screen TVs). The central location makes getting around Park City and hitting the slopes easy, but you'll have to pay extra for the resort fee and valet parking.
Park Plaza Resort

Park Plaza Resort Rating: 3.5 Pearls

Park Plaza Resort is an upper-middle-range property that compares favorably with the competition by offering large suites with kitchens, and a convenient location near Main Street and the ski resorts. Many of the 63 suites at this pet-friendly resort have fireplaces and balconies, while the on-site features and friendly staff make this a great choice for families on ski breaks. In addition to ski storage and shuttle service around town, the property has an indoor pool and hot tub, and special daily events, such as breakfast, wine and cheese, or margaritas. The price includes a resort fee, however, and there's no restaurant on-site.
April Inn on Main

April Inn on Main Rating: 2.5 Pearls

The April Inn is a great budget option with an even better location in an often very expensive ski town. Located on Main Street, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and the slopes, the Inn features one and two-bedroom condos complete with living rooms and fully equipped kitchenettes. Rooms are bland -- they are decorated with typical "mountain-esque" plaids and scenes of snowy slopes -- but with the affordable rates and perks such as free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and DVD players, and gas fireplaces, it's easy to forgive. Aside from on-site laundry facilities, the hotel has no other amenities -- even parking isn't on the property. Still, the April Inn is a solid budget choice for those who care most about "location, location, location" -- and plan on making some meals in.
