Bathrooms are especially chic with tiled patterns along the walls. There are on-site restaurants serving international cuisine and the Tierra Market provides ingredients for guests to cook in fully equipped kitchens.

The property occupies a unique spot in the Hotel Zone, with sprawling grounds that jut out into the ocean. Highlights include a cheery kids' club, serene spa, massive pool, and saltwater lagoon where guests can swim with dolphins. Rooms are large, but could use an update: Some have old tube TVs, and the beach-inspired decor in some rooms verges on kitschy. The all-inclusive rates include just about everything, but some guests feel nickel-and-dimed when they have to pay for in-room Wi-Fi.
