Shopping, theater, restaurants, sightseeing -- it's all a quick walk away
Hotel Five is close to most of downtown Seattle's attractions. It's a 10-minute walk to the Washington State Convention Center, and is also within walking distance of theaters, great restaurants, and high-end shops such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci.
Guests can walk to musicals at the 5th Avenue Theater, arcade games at Gameworks for the kids, and shopping at Nordstrom and Pacific Place shopping center. Westlake Center is equally close, with its full-on food court and access to the Monorail, the iconic elevated train that whisks you over to the Seattle Center (home of the Space Needle) in a mere two minutes.
This 58-room boutique prides itself on being a funky option in downtown Seattle. Upon entry, most can see that Hotel Five is not your traditional hotel: The small, mood-litfeatures mod furniture in pops of red and yellow, and this bright look continues through the (with vibrant accent walls and Seattle-centric elevator door motifs) to the rooms. The have quirky but sleek modern decor with hardwood floors, bright red walls, and abstract art; some rooms even boast views of the Space Needle. However, in most rooms are a tad cramped and have little counter space. The hotel does not offer many features -- although there is a fitness center and a that serves breakfast and lunch -- but the hotel's location makes it easy to visit shops, restaurants, and sights.
