Swanky Silicon Valley Business Hotels (3 of 12)

The stylish and modern Rosewood Sand Hill leaves very little to be desired for either business travelers or families. The suit and tie contingent will enjoy the stylish but comfortable meeting rooms, like this one, and revel in the dedicated service the hotel provides to its corporate travelers.
Home to world's leading technology corporations, Silicon Valley is known for its thriving startup culture and numerous venture capital firms. The diverse area is packed wall-to-wall with corporate offices, making it a major hub for business travelers looking to seal a deal. And where better to accomplish just that than in your swanky hotel lounge? Silicon Valley is rife with stylish hotels perfect for talking business. Here are some of our favorites: The Four Seasons in Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto reflects the legendary service and commitment to quality of this luxury brand. Upscale touches are everywhere, from the beautifully manicured grounds to the sleek wood-paneled lobby -- and the wonderful Quattro restaurant, seen here -- to the spacious rooftop pool with free sunscreen. The pool at the Four Seasons is the perfect spot to kick back after a day of programming. Comfortable loungers and private cabanas make for a luxe period of relaxation. The stylish and modern Rosewood Sand Hill leaves very little to be desired for either business travelers or families. The suit and tie contingent will enjoy the stylish but comfortable meeting rooms, like this one, and revel in the dedicated service the hotel provides to its corporate travelers. The 121 rooms at the Rosewood are bright and airy, complete with HD TVs with surround sound, spacious showers (the rain showerheads have fantastic pressure), and large, sunny patios and balconies with views of the beautiful natural surroundings. Michelin-starred dining at Madera, a luxury spa, stunning landscaping, and a family-friendly outdoor pool round out the experience. The W Silicon Valley offers the sleek and stylish rooms that are characteristic of the W brand, along with a secluded outdoor pool and popular bar. All rooms here are suites -- with wet bars, mini-fridges, and lounge areas -- but the living area isn't separate from the bedroom. The (somewhat minimal) action of Silicon Valley is located a 20-minute drive away from the W in Palo Alto, but the hotel does offer nice perks such as a 24-hour fitness center, a pet-friendly attitude, and outdoor firepits and poolside dining. Located on a serene lagoon, the 421-room Sofitel San Francisco Bay is a convenient choice for business travelers that want to be near the airport and freeway. Rooms are spacious and offer nice touches like flat-screen TVs and Keurig coffeemakers, but design-wise are on the bland side. On the other hand, the lobby and restaurant at the Sofitel are airy and attractive with plenty of white marble, fresh flowers, and comfortable seating areas. The restaurant, Bay 223, serves California-inspired French cuisine. The Garden Court Hotel is a standout boutique property in Downtown Palo Alto. Property features include an upscale Italian restaurant, 7,000 square feet of meeting space, and a small fitness center. Though there is no spa, the hotel can arrange in-room massages, and owners can bring pets for a one-time fee (which covers pet-friendly amenities such as beds and treats). But the real standout at the Garden Court Hotel are the rooms. Beautifully designed, they feature elegant white-and-blue decor, upscale amenities, marble bathrooms, and in many, balconies overlooking the quaint courtyard. Guests are known to return to the Garden Court for its elegant rooms and intimate vibe. Silicon Valley business travelers are drawn to the Sheraton Sunnyvale hotel for its comfort and close proximity to the area's corporate headquarters. This 173-room hotel is made up of two-story buildings that surround a huge Olympic-size outdoor heated pool and appealing sundeck. While there is no elevator available to rooms on the second floor of the Sheraton, all of the large rooms offer crisp linens, free in-room coffee, and recent upgrades like flat-screen TVs and spacious work desks. More convenient perks include a 24-hour fitness center, free parking, and a Mediterranean spot -- Faz Restaurant -- that is devoted to serving fresh and flavorful food.
