Near the water in Newark, across the bay from Palo Alto
Newark is a small residential town surrounded by the city of Fremont. It is part of Silicon Valley, but the vibe is somewhat different as it sits on the other side of the Dumbarton Bridge across the bay from Palo Alto. There's a few corporate offices and only a couple of major companies, such as Cargill Salt. However, it is one of the most family-friendly cities in the Valley, with a huge indoor water park and over 15 parks and recreation areas.
The hotel is near the water on the western side of Newark, and is only a short drive from Coyote Hills Regional Park.
