This hotel is located along a pretty, lush road near a creek, and pedestrian sidewalks enable visitors to explore the surrounding area by foot. Olive Park is just a short walk away when headed south, and to the north is more of the downtown Santa Rosa area, with a few restaurants and shops.
Santa Rosa might not be the prettiest city in Sonoma Valley, but it is the largest and most convenient if you are planning a trip that does not only involve wine-tasting. The downtown area is full of department stores, restaurants, bars, hotels and office buildings. It's also the most kid-friendly place in the region, with an amusement park and ice arena right in town.
