This bright, contemporary luxury hotel, located in the Central Business District, just south of The Rocks and Circular Quay, reflects Sydney's personality: relaxed and stylish. The bi-level lobby/lounge area features floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the city. The minimalist rooms have minibars, coffeemakers, flat-screen TVs, DVD players, and (in some) beautiful harbor or city views -- but a few are showing minor wear, and lower-level rooms look plain. One of the best features of the rooms are the modern tile bathrooms, which have walk-in showers and separate large soaking tubs. Outside the rooms, the hotel has two trendy restaurants and two bars, a tiny fitness center, a small but contemporary spa, and an attractive indoor pool. For business travelers, there are two large conference spaces that can accommodate up to 280 guests; leisure travelers will likely appreciate the location, within walking distance to popular sights.

Amora Hotel Jamison has a prime location right by Wyndard Train station and a five-minute walk to Circular Quay. It's just south of The Rocks, a charming, historic area with a popular market.
Sydney is Australia's most populous city and its cultural hub. Festivals, theater, fashion, and a famous opera house can all be found here, along with the retail and restaurants that naturally accompany them. The weather is excellent, with an average of 300 sunny days a year, and beaches are within a short drive from the city center.
