Mantra 2 Bond Street is located on the corner of Bond Street and the bustling George Street, the main thoroughfare of the city. It's next to Australia Square Tower, one of the city's tallest buildings, home to offices and shops. Popular areas such as The Rocks, Circular Quay (where ferries depart), and Town Hall, are all within walking distance.
Sydney, the site of the first British colony in Australia, was established on January 26, 1788 -- a date that's still celebrated with festivities all over the country. Home to over four million people, the city has grown to become one of the most cosmopolitan places in the world. The state capital of New South Wales, it jumped into the international spotlight in 2000 when it hosted the Olympics. While it is mentioned alongside other major cities like London, Paris and New York, its vibe differs from the usual hustle and bustle of those metropolises. Sydney usually receives 300 sunny days a year, and the lifestyle is more slow-paced; though the people are classy and cultured, they're also laid-back.
From the iconic Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, to the fun Bondi Beach and Queen Victoria Building, Sydney is rich in historic landmarks, art and cultural institutions, wildlife and nature, gastronomic hubs, shopping centers and a vibrant nightlife scene.
Mantra 2 Bond Street is a high-end, modern hotel located on the corner of bustling George St. in Sydney's Central Business District. The atmosphere is warm and sophisticated, and the hotel offers guests a wide variety of spacious accommodations, from studios and apartments to suites and penthouses. Many of the 170 rooms come with washers and dryers, fully equipped kitchens, stereo systems, and private balconies, making them suitable for extended stays. Wi-Fi and parking are not free, however. The luxurious rooftop pool provides stunning, panoramic views of the area. There’s one café on-site, but the gym is small and there is no business center.
