1

Omni Tucson National Resort

Tucson, Arizona, United States

The 4-pearl Omni Tucson National Resort has a beautiful, 650-acre desert setting west of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Golf is a major focus here (the resort has two courses), which attracts not only leisure travelers but also plenty of business travelers and convention groups hoping to hit the links. The resort offers extensive amenities, many of which are geared towards business travelers: free valet parking, 24-hour room service, a 24-hour business center, and several fine-dining options. With 10,500 square feet of meeting space, the Omni doesn't offer quite as much for large groups, but the rooms are arguably more upscale than those at the Westin and perks such as Get Fit Kits for in-room exercise are nice. Like the Westin, there is a daily resort fee.

2

JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa

Tucson, Arizona, United States

Big, luxurious, and loaded with activities, the JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa is a business-friendly hotel located on the outskirts of west Tucson. It's surrounded by striking desert landscapes, with good views all around. There's golf, tennis, numerous pools and water features, shopping, restaurants, a massive lobby, hiking, and the big Hashani Spa. It also features a Starbucks, a small business center, and tons of meeting space. About the only things not available here are free in-room Wi-Fi and free parking, both of which can be had at the more affordable Westward Look Resort. However, the lobby does offer free Wi-Fi and there's no resort fee.

3

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort

Tucson, Arizona, United States

The Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is located right at the foot of the Santa Catalina Mountains, and the views are terrific. Wildlife sightings are common, and there's even a waterfall at the end of a nature trail. Additional highlights that appeal to business travelers include two Tom Fazio-designed golf courses, several nice restaurants, and tons of indoor and outdoor meeting space (many with great views). This upscale hotel does not have a resort fee, but guests are charged for in-room Wi-Fi, parking, and use of the fitness center and tennis courts. Though it offers many of the same business-friendly amenities as the Marriott, the Marriott has a slightly more upscale vibe overall. However, the rooms at the Loews are just as nice, if not more so, with large work desks and updated technology.

4

Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort and Spa

Tucson, Arizona, United States

This renovated guest ranch is Tucson's oldest resort and one of its most popular. Outdoor activities abound at the upscale property, which offers three saline pools, horseback riding and hiking trails, volleyball, basketball, and eight tennis courts -- but no golf course. With 20,000 square feet of meeting space, a business center, large rooms, and two highly regarded restaurants overlooking the serene mountains and city lights, the Westward attracts business and leisure travelers alike.

5

Doubletree by Hilton Tucson – Reid Park

Tucson, Arizona, United States

The mix of rooms, suites, and casitas at this 287-unit hotel are comfortable, but a tad generic. Though even standard rooms have 42-inch flat-screen TVs with premium channels and Wolfgang Puck coffeemakers and coffee, Wi-Fi fees make some guests feel as though they are being nickel-and-dimed and this hotel is not nearly as luxurious as the top five on our list. Nonetheless, this is a solid business option, and often has very reasonable rates. Business-friendly highlights include free parking, a free shuttle within a three-mile radius, 22,000 square feet of meeting space, and a business ceter. The property also offers a central location close to the popular Reid Park near Tucson's downtown area.

6

Radisson Suites Tucson

Tucson, Arizona, United States

The mid-range Radisson Suites Tucson is an aging hotel that nevertheless continues to offer solid value. It has big rooms with microwaves and mini-fridges, a large, attractive pool, and big landscaped courtyard. Business-friendly perks include free Wi-Fi and parking, a free shuttle within a three-mile radius, a business center, on-site laundry facilities, and 20,000 square feet of meeting space.
