The Moda Hotel is a short walk away from Robson Square, and there is a SkyRail line just a couple blocks from the hotel.

Downtown Vancouver is the financial and commercial hub of the city. It's bustling during the weekdays, when tourists and locals fill the streets -- but empties out at night and on the weekends. However, Robson Square is always alive, featuring restaurants, shops, bars, and the Vancouver Art Gallery.

• 25-minute drive to Vancouver International Airport
• 3-minute walk to Robson Square
• 6-minute walk to Vancouver City Center SkyRail line
• 8-minute walk to the Vancouver Art Gallery
• 10-minute walk to the BC Place Stadium, home to numerous Canadian teams and where some events from the 2010 Winter Olympics took place
• 5-minute drive to Science World
• 5-minute drive to the Vancouver Convention Center, or 12 minutes via public transportation
• 8-minute drive to the Museum of Vancouver, or 20 minutes via public transportation

 Bottom Line

A small, upper-middle-range boutique hotel in Downtown Vancouver, the Moda Hotel offers reasonably priced rooms in a convenient location near Robson Square. The popular wine bar and excellent Italian restaurant are highlights, but it's an older property, and there are a few lingering issues under the veneer of boutique-y decor. The rooms are small, with cute but basic contemporary style, and amenities are few -- the hotel lacks room service and a fitness center.
